Join 3,000 craft beer industry veterans, connoisseurs, and novices from across the country for a one-of-a-kind cultural experience. The nation’s first Black brew festival is back...and even #FRESHER! The Drinking Partnersand Black Brew Culture are proud to present Fresh Fest 2019 on Saturday, August 10 from 12 - 9 pm at Nova Place on Pittsburgh's scenic North Shore.
One year after the game-changing 2018 festival, Fresh Fest returns with another amazing line-up of Black-owned breweries as well as breweries collaborating with Black artists and entrepreneurs from Pennsylvania and beyond. VIP, Early Admission, and General Admission festival tickets are on sale now. We’re kicking off the Aug. 10 festivities with a VIP “Meet the Brewers” podcast event hosted by the Drinking Partners at noon atAlloy 26 just inside the Nova Place Courtyard. VIP ticketholders will be treated to an up-close conversation with two of Pittsburgh’s best comedians interviewing craft beer legend Garrett Oliver.
The fun continues at 5 pm (3 pm for early admission ticketholders) with a showcase of unique craft beers, ciders, and spirits made by some of the nation’s most talented brewers. Festivalgoers will also enjoy Pittsburgh's best food trucks on site and live music throughout the evening. Brewers, beer-related vendors, musicians and food truck owners are invited to apply to participate. Fresh Fest welcomes Black brewers as well as other brewers working in collaboration with Black brewers, businesses and artists. At last year’s festival, collaborations included new beers, label designs and food pairings.
